SECOND DEAL SEALED AT ST. MODWEN’S BRIGHTON OFFICE CAMPUS

St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has completed its second letting in a month at Brighton Office Campus. Brighton and Hove Training Association (BHTA), which has been providing training, development and assessment services across Sussex for more than 23 years, has taken a 1,730 sq ft office unit at the Campus, which forms the third phase of St. Modwen’s 10-acre Woodingdean Business Park, two miles off the A27.

BHTA has taken the office in an innovative and flexible “let to buy” initiative, securing it on an occupational lease but with an option to buy the premises at any time within the first two years of term. If it exercises this option, it will be refunded its rent paid up to the date of the purchase.

Nick Kay, development director at St. Modwen, says: “Coming so soon after our first deal, it is excellent news for the local economy that the business park is proving so popular. We look forward to welcoming BHTA to Brighton Office Campus.”

Simon Forrest, director at Oakley Commercial, St Modwen’s agents, said: “This second deal is very positive news. With Triangle, a children’s and parents’ advisory body, having also just taken space a few weeks ago, it’s a double whammy.”

Brighton Office Campus comprises 16 two-storey office units ranging in size from 1,730 sq ft to 2,540 sq ft.
