St. Modwen and St. Modwen Homes continue their partnership with Wantage Town Football Club
Property developer St. Modwen and its dedicated housebuilding business St. Modwen Homes are continuing their partnership with Wantage Town FC this season, with St. Modwen sponsoring the team by donating £4,000 that will be used for equipment and kit for teams of all ages. The logos for both St. Modwen Homes and the developer’s Kingsgrove project in Wantage appear on the team’s home and away kit.
The club has teams ranging from under 7’s to men’s and women’s first teams in the Southern League Division One Central and the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League respectively. The next men’s cup match will be played on 7th December and hopefully the team will continue their journey to the final in March 2022.
Wantage Town FC is located just down the road from St. Modwen’s 1,500-new-home Kingsgrove development. Fantastic progress has been made on site with nearly high quality homes 250 homes completed and occupied. The on-site primary school has now been completed and community facilities are under construction, as St. Modwen continues to go above and beyond to deliver all the elements required for a thriving community at Kingsgrove.
