ST. MODWEN ANNOUNCES RETAIL OPPORTUNITY AT MEON VALE
St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has announced a new retail opportunity at its major regeneration site at Meon Vale, six miles south of Stratford upon Avon.
The developer is already well advanced with its transformation of the 470 acre in to a brand new community, to include residential, employment and leisure, and has announced that it will complete a brand new 3,600 sq ft retail shop in the summer, which can be used as a convenience store.
Peter Rudd, senior development surveyor at St. Modwen, said: “We’re pleased to be able to bring to market this exciting opportunity for a retailer/convenience store enterprise to become part of the new development at Meon Vale.
“The scheme is progressing well, with the creation of 284 homes by joint venture partners Persimmon Homes, together with a local centre, incorporating the new retail unit. In addition there will be a village hall, public open space, an extension to the Greenway, sports pitches, a sports hall, café, an all-weather pitch, children’s play areas and 14 full-sized allotments.
“The shop will sit at the heart of the development. The operator will act as a vital amenity for new residents and leisure users, as well as for trade from the nearby Meon Vale Business Park.”
