St Modwen appointed development partner for Newham’s Queens Market

St Modwen Properties PLC, one of the country’s leading mixed use regeneration specialists, has been appointed the preferred developer by the London Borough of Newham to look at ways to improve  Queens Market in Upton Park.

Nick Doyle, regional director of St Modwen, said: “We are very pleased to have been selected as the preferred developer for this important  project,. It will enable us to extend our specialised regeneration skills that are already transforming  mixed-use centres in other London boroughs.

“Queens Market is proposed to be a  substantial mixed-use re-development incorporating a regenerated market with other retail and residential uses.”
