ST. MODWEN ATTRACTS ANOTHER OCCUPIER TO QUEENSWAY BUSINESS PARK, TELFORD

St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has sold a 2,556 sq ft unit, at its 20 acre Queensway Business Park – Telford’s largest new industrial estate – to Clarke’s Safety Mirrors Ltd.

The company, a supplier of a range of unbreakable and specialist mirrors, has taken the space within the second development phase at the Business Park – launched in October – and is relocating from leased premises in Stafford Park as a result of business expansion.

The second development phase comprises a variety of industrial units that range in size from 2,556 sq ft up to 22,000 sq ft and St. Modwen continues to negotiate with a number of potential occupiers.

Jonathan Green, development surveyor, St. Modwen says:

“With the interest rates at their lowest in years, it is the ideal time for companies to invest in their own premises and make a real stake in their business. Such is the popularity of Queensway Business Park that we are already planning a third development phase here.

Peter Clarke, Managing Director, commented:

“Due to significant contracts within the education, correction and health sectors we needed a larger premises. This unit will also allow us to invest in new machinery to expand our product range to a rapidly growing customer base.”

Bulleys and joint letting agent Andrew Dixon & Company acted for St. Modwen.
