St. Modwen attracts leading professional services firm to Longbridge

Expert developer and regeneration specialist St. Modwen has pre-let 21,000 sq ft of space at its new-build office development on Longbridge Technology Park.

Leading independent professional services consultancy Barnett Waddingham has signed a 15-year lease for its Birmingham office at 3 Devon Way in Longbridge during the first half of 2020. The letting is expected to bring over 150 jobs to the area.

The new office development, located opposite Longbridge Shopping Park, will boast a prime position on the edge of the town centre and is at the heart of all local amenities, benefitting from attractive landscaping and public spaces.

Chris Newsome, Development Director at St. Modwen, said: “This is a significant letting for the site and demonstrates the demand for units of this kind in a location with strong transport links. With the success of the Innovation Centre and 2 Devon Way, Longbridge has proved  to be an ideal location for businesses.”

Paul Hubbold, Partner at Barnett Waddingham, said: “As Barnett Waddingham continues to experience strong growth, both across the business and in particular within the Midlands, finding the right location for us to continue our growth has been a priority. 3 Devon Way will allow us to give our employees a new, flexible working space, coupled with superb facilities and transport links. Longbridge is a huge success story for the area and we are already looking forward to our move there in 2020.”

Construction is due to commence in Q1 2019 and the offices will be ready for occupation in Summer 2020.
