St. Modwen attracts two new businesses to its popular Worcester scheme

St. Modwen Industrial and Logistics has let the final two new units at its Nunnery Park scheme in Worcester – just a month after reaching practical completion.

BioPak, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of eco-friendly packaging, will occupy a 48,186 sq ft unit at the site, while Nemesis Ltd, a full-service distribution company of more than 20 years, will occupy a 19,134 sq ft unit.

Both occupiers have signed 10-year leases at the scheme. The deals signal the completion of the final phase of development at the 20-acre mixed-use scheme, with all three mid-sized units now occupied.

Owing to its close proximity to the M5, Nunnery Park has proven popular with both local and national businesses including UK Storage Company, Edmundson Electrical and, most recently, Obex Protection – which secured a 27,000 sq ft unit in June 2020.

James Irwin-Singer, Development Manager at St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, said:

“Both businesses are brilliant additions to the broad range of occupiers we already have at Nunnery Park. This has proven an extremely popular scheme for St. Modwen and we’re pleased to be regularly meeting prospective occupiers’ requirements for high-quality industrial and logistics space – particularly against the backdrop of a global pandemic.”

Leanne Osbourne, Director at BioPak, added:

“The quality of Nunnery Park’s warehouses and its ideal location were what attracted us to the scheme. St. Modwen provided us with everything we needed to make our decision and we’re sure our new home will allow us to grow our nationally-recognised brand even further within the industry.”

Chris Chance, Managing Director at Nemesis Ltd, added:

“Nunnery Park made sense for us due its excellent location and on-site amenities. We look forward to moving into the new unit and continuing to grow our operation from our new Worcestershire base, while providing award-winning distribution for our customers.”

Fisher German and Avison Young are joint marketing agents for the scheme.

Richard Tomlinson, Partner at Fisher German, added:

“The two deals confirm the high level of demand that still exists in Worcestershire for quality, well-located industrial and logistics space. We’re delighted that Nunnery Park has now reached capacity following the letting of all three units at this sought-after scheme.”
