St Modwen Properties PLC has been selected by Arun District Council as its preferred developer for two town centre regeneration projects in Bognor Regis.

St Modwen’s initial £100 million masterplan proposals for sites totalling six acres, include leisure, restaurants, retail, community and housing uses. Extensive public realm improvements are also planned. It is hoped that construction will start in Spring 2008.

Coun. Gill Brown, leader of Arun District Council, said: “Bognor Regis is a seaside town with plenty of history. Now, with a preferred developer chosen, we are on the road to ensuring it has a great future too,”
