St Modwen complete second £8 million Pride Park call centre for Prudential

St Modwen Developments Ltd, the development subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC, has completed the £8 million development of a call centre totalling 14,399 sq m (155,000 sq ft) at Pride Park, Derby, which it pre-sold to Prudential’s internet bank subsidiary EGG last summer.

The new buildings are on a site adjoining the 13,006 sq m (140,000 sq ft ) national call centre building for Prudential Banking which St Modwen completed two years ago. EGG already employs 1,200 people in the first phase, which is one of Europe’s largest call centres.
