St. Modwen has delivered a further two units at St. Modwen Park Access 18, the developer’s popular £260 million industrial and logistics scheme in Avonmouth.

Expected to create around 100 jobs in the local area once occupied, the 25,163 sq ft and 44,640 sq ft units provide quality, well-located and flexible space – ideal for medium-sized industrial and logistics businesses.

Sitting adjacent to Junction 18 of the M5, the site is a stone’s throw from Avonmouth Docks and is located within a four-hour drive of nearly 80% of the UK’s population.

More than 1m sq ft of warehouse & industrial space has been delivered at St. Modwen Park Access 18 to date, accommodating 16 businesses, including global courier and delivery service Hermes Parcelnet Ltd, catering equipment providers Nisbets PLC, and leading healthcare distributor Movianto. Once complete, the development is expected to create more than 2,200 jobs.

The site is home to the South West’s largest speculative industrial and logistics unit and forms part of St. Modwen’s largest-ever committed industrial and logistics pipeline, standing at 1.6m sq ft nationally. The site also contributes to St. Modwen’s longer-term pipeline of over 15m sq ft – one of the biggest in the UK.

Peter Davies, Development Director at St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, said:

“St. Modwen Park Access 18 has attracted some major players in the logistics sector. The scheme’s location makes it very attractive, but occupiers are also impressed by the variety of sized units we’re able to offer, the specification and flexibility of the space with a high quality environment which is accessible from residential areas for staff recruitment and retention. These two new units add to the scheme’s offering – providing excellent premises for medium-sized industrial and logistics businesses.”

Joint agents for the scheme, Andrew Ridler, Partner at Alder King Property Consultants and Russel Crofts, head of Industrial & Logistics Agency at Knight Frank, added:

“St. Modwen will attract more investment to Avonmouth through the creation of these two new units and we look forward to welcoming new businesses to this thriving and excellently-located employment site.”

The units are available now and interested parties should contact St. Modwen’s joint sole agents Knight Frank and Alder King for further information.
