St Modwen develop new offices for ICL

St Modwen Ventures Ltd, a subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC, has pre-let a 3,716 sq m (40,000 sq ft) office building at Daten Avenue, Warrington, to International Computers Ltd (ICL) The three-storey building, is being constructed on part of the former Trident Industrial Estate adjoining ICL’s existing warehouse and office complex at Birchwood.

Detailed planning permission has been granted, work has started on site, and the building is due for completion at the end of October. St Modwen is planning to redevelop in phases the remainder of the former Trident Industrial estate to create a high quality business park of up to 32,515 sq m (350,000 sq ft).

Michelle Taylor, regional director at St Modwen’s Warrington office, said: “Securing ICL as a tenant for the first phase of the new business park provides a very encouraging start. We are progressing enquiries for further development which is a strong indication of the market strength of this location at the M6/M62 intersection.”
