ST MODWEN GIVEN GO-AHEAD TO BUILD VILLAGE RELIEF ROAD
A new access road into St Modwen’s Quedgley East estate at Gloucester, is to be built to avoid traffic to the estate affecting local residents.
Planning consent has just been granted for a 300 metres length of new road to provide a more direct route from Junction 12 , M5 to the 28 acre estate and avoid commercial traffic having to go through Haresfield. The managed estate is nearing full occupancy and the new road will assist in the estate’s long term improvement as well as making a major improvement to local amenities.
Rob Skelston of St Modwen said that work on the new road will begin by June and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the summer.
