ST. MODWEN HOMES EXPANDS WITH SENIOR APPOINTMENT

St. Modwen Homes, the residential part of St. Modwen, is preparing for further growth in 2014 with the appointment of a new senior member of staff, as well as opening a new regional office.

Boasting more than 30 years’ experience in the residential property sector, Bev Hall has been appointed as Sales and Marketing Director of St. Modwen Homes. Previously the Sales and Marketing Director for Bromford Group, Mrs Hall will be based in the company’s Birmingham head office and will be responsible for maximising sales through strategic marketing across the St. Modwen Homes’ portfolio.

Additionally, St. Modwen Homes recently opened its first regional office in Bristol and promoted Ben Cook to Regional Residential Director. Having worked for St. Modwen for the past year as Regional Land Director, Ben will now oversee the company’s developments in the South West and Wales, including the existing award-winning Locking Parklands development in Weston-super-Mare and St. Modwen Homes’ future sites at Glan Llyn and Coed Darcy in Wales; both of which are large-scale regeneration projects.

Guy Gusterson, Managing Director of St. Modwen Homes said: “I am delighted to welcome Bev to the St. Modwen Homes’ team. The past two years have been a whirlwind of activity and it is very rewarding to see just how far the company has come in so little time.

“In the past three months alone we have opened our first regional office in the South West, been named Best Small Housebuilder in a national award and seen an increase in both visitors and sales at our developments. We are now in a very advantageous position and Bev’s appointment will help us to further fuel the growth of St. Modwen Homes; taking advantage of the vast industry knowledge she brings with her.”

St. Modwen Homes currently has five active sites located across the UK, having sold out of properties at its Park View development in Longbridge and Wembley Central scheme in Wembley. Properties are currently for sale at Edison Place in Rugby, Locking Parklands in Weston-super-Mare, Woodlands Reach in Coalville, Gregorys Bank in Worcester and Littlecombe in Dursley.

Bev said: “Having worked in the house building industry for many years, I am very much looking forward to using this experience to help establish and maintain St. Modwen Homes’ position within the industry.

“St. Modwen Homes benefits from being able to select advantageous sites from St. Modwen’s portfolio, meaning houseowners can be assured of excellent local amenities, convenient locations and real value for money.”

As the residential part of St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, St. Modwen Homes is able to select its preferred sites from the company’s 5,000 plus developable acres.

During the past two years, St. Modwen Homes has established a reputation as a design-led housebuilder that works closely with its architects to deliver well thought-out homes, offering practical living solutions on attractive developments. Each property is designed to maximise natural light, with high ceilings and larger than average windows fitted as standard.
