St. Modwen lets 153,000 sq ft warehouse at Centurion Park

St. Modwen has attracted another tenant to its popular Centurion Park industrial development in Tamworth, securing a lease on a 153,000 sq ft warehouse unit.

Centurion Park spans 21 acres and is one of the most sought-after locations for warehouse and distribution operators in the Midlands. The site is already home to high profile businesses including DFS, DB Schenker, Aldi and Speedy Hire.

Located adjacent to junction 10 of the M42, the development is just a stone’s throw away from Tamworth Logistics Park, a site that St. Modwen has secured planning permission for more than 560,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics space.

St. Modwen is accelerating its development of high-quality industrial and logistics assets, with a strong national pipeline of 1.5m sq ft of committed industrial/logistics projects, up from 1.0m sq ft at the start of 2018.

Gregg Titley, Development Director at St. Modwen, said: “This deal shows there is an increasing appetite for industrial and logistics space and we’re pleased to be able to deliver on our commitment to provide quality units at the heart of major motorway networks.

“The proximity to the M42 corridor makes Tamworth a highly desirable location and with planning permission secured for further space at the nearby Logistics Park, we’ll be providing more quality warehouse units over the coming years to satisfy this growing demand.”
