St Modwen plan to extend Henley Park

A planning  application for  the development of 9,197 sq m ( 99,000 sq ft)  of industrial /warehousing  accommodation on the 25-acre Henley Park Industrial Estate, Normandy, near Guildford, to meet demand, particularly fromn local companies, has been made by the park’s owners, St Modwen Ventures Ltd, a subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC.

Subject to planning consent, St Modwen propose to  develop speculatively a 6,131 sq m (66,000 sq ft ) first phase in units ranging from 325 sq m (3,500 sq ft) to  929 sq m (10,000 sq ft.).  It is hoped that a start will be made this summer with practical completion of the first phase early in 2006.
