St Modwen prepare for next stage of Catalyst Industrial Park development

Redman Heenan Properties Ltd, the investment subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC, has applied for planning permission to develop 1,672 sq m (18,000 sq ft ) of business/trade units on its Catalyst Industrial Estate, Widnes. The units will range from 111 sq m (1,200 sq ft) to 279 sq m

The application follows the successful completion last November of a 1,626 sq m (17,500 sq ft ) repair and maintenance centre for Perris and Kearon. Agreement has also been reached for the letting of a 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft) existing unit to City Plumbing, and a 1,858 sq m (20,000 sq

ft) existing unit is being refurbished.

Steve Prosser of St Modwen, said: “We have been pleased with the response to our redevelopment of Catalyst. In addition to the proposed business/trade units and the existing space, we have a three-acre plot available on which we are looking to carry out schemes for occupier specific requirements of up to 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft).”
