St. Modwen press ahead with further Glasgow refurbished space

Regeneration specialists St Modwen are forging ahead with the next phase of the creation of Pegasus Business Park, Hillington, Glasgow, by refurbishing a further 264,000 sq ft (24,526 sq m) of industrial accommodation to meet demand.

Another 20,000 sq ft (1,858 sq m) of the 132,000 sq ft (12,263 sq m) first phase refurbishment on the 31-acre former Rolls Royce site has just been let to VRC Ltd on a ten-year lease at an initial rent of £2 per sq ft. The remaining 30,000 sq ft (2,787 sq m) in the block is in solicitors hands.

Steven Knowles of St Modwen, said: “As a result of this early success, we are pushing ahead with refurbishing the next block which will have eaves height of 6.6 metres and substantial yard space, and which will be offered in units between 60,000 sq ft (5,574 sq m) and 132,000 sq ft (12,263 sq m).

“We are also refurbishing a third block of the same size to create units ranging from 20,000 sq ft (1,858 sq m) to 50,000 sq ft (4,645 sq m). Both blocks will be available from August at £2.50 per sq ft, dependant on lease terms.”
