On Saturday 12th July, St Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, launches the residential element of the regeneration of Farnborough town centre.

Commenting on the scheme, Bill Oliver, Chief Executive of St Modwen Properties PLC said: “This is a very exciting time for St Modwen and Farnborough town centre. The project is breathing new life in to the heart of this town; it is the very essence of sustainable development offering local residents a fantastic opportunity to secure a high-quality home with a wide range of amenities on their doorstep. When complete, the residents of Farnborough will have a town centre of which they will quite rightly be proud. By undertaking the residential element within this development directly, we will ensure that St Modwen’s high-standards continue throughout the entire scheme.”

Centrus at The Meads is a contemporary development that will comprise a mix of over 100 stylish one, two and three bedroom apartments. This exciting, sustainable residential development is being delivered as part of St Modwen’s regeneration of Farnborough Town Centre which spans 14 acres and provides the local community with a thriving and cosmopolitan destination. Residents will benefit from a wealth of amenities on their doorstep including new shops, restaurants, a new Sainsbury store, a Travelodge Hotel, as well as leisure and entertainment facilities.

The apartments at the scheme will offer spacious, contemporary and highly-specified open-plan living including contemporary Cuisine Schmidt kitchens with excellent detailing including full height units with handle-free, high gloss doors. All kitchens will include as

standard integrated Siemens and Electrolux appliances including a stainless steel oven and ceramic hob, telescopic glide extractor hood, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a choice of Walnut or Oak Amtico flooring. The apartments all feature either glass and metal balconies or timber decked terraces along with extensive glazing that will provide modern homes filled with natural light.

Layouts have been carefully considered with the two bedroom apartments featuring luxurious en-suites which include the latest sanitaryware from Kaldewei and Duravit, and will be complemented by a range of smart chrome fittings by Hansgrohe and Crosswater including a luxury Raindance shower. Furthermore, an integral mirrored bathroom cabinet, ceramic wall and floor tiles and a chrome-finish ladder-style heated towel rail will add the finishing touches.

A home at Centrus at The Meads is very well connected situated in the centre of Farnborough. The scheme lays at the heart of a comprehensive transport network with Junction 4 of the M3 less than a mile away. Farnborough Mainline Station is within easy walking distance, from where London Waterloo is less than 40 minutes away making commuting into the city accessible. The development also will include residents parking and bicycle storage.

Jon Hall, Residential Sales and Marketing Director for St Modwen Properties PLC said: “Farnborough is currently undergoing a significant renaissance and the homes on offer at Centrus offer a lifestyle choice and will be the area’s premier address. The apartments are competitively priced and we anticipate a large amount of interest from purchasers who want to buy into the lifestyle on offer.”

He continued: “St Modwen is committed to delivering the regeneration of Farnborough town centre and we are delighted to offer local residents, particularly first-time buyers, the first opportunity to secure a home at this exceptional development.”

Prices at Centrus start from £165,000 for a one bedroom apartment and £210,000 for a two bedroom apartment. The Sales & Marketing Suite and show home is located at Firgrove Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 7RF and is open 7 days a week 10.00am – 6.00pm.
