ST. MODWEN RAISES GLASS TO NEW DEAL WITH WETHERSPOON

St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has completed a deal with J D Wetherspoon at its town centre regeneration scheme in Farnborough, Hampshire. The British pub operator, which has over 700 units trading throughout the UK, has signed up to take 6,000 sq ft in the first phase of the scheme, adjacent to new occupiers Sainsbury’s and Travelodge.

James Stockdale, development manager at St. Modwen, said: “Our scheme at Farnborough continues to make headway in spite of current economic conditions. This new letting, together with substantial improvements we are making to the town centre, will attract visitors and help other occupiers recognise the potential of the area.”

Green and Partners acted for St. Modwen, Clare and Company acted for J D Wetherspoon.
