A planning application for the first phase redevelopment of a former Worcester railway goods yard site into a major business park has been submitted by St Modwen Properties PLC which acquired the 17-acre site last year.
It is planned to create 105,000 sq ft (9,754 sq m) of business/employment accommodation in the first phase of the development of Great Western Business Park at Tolladine, close to the city centre. The new units will range from 5,500 sq ft (511 sq m ) to 10,000 sq ft (929 sq m).
David Deacon of St Modwen said: “As part of the initial phase, St Modwen will create a new signalised traffic junction on Tolladine Road and remove a disused railway bridge close to the acccess to the site.
“There is keen interest from occupiers for the first phase and we have further phases planned.”
