ST MODWEN SELLS LAST TRANCHE OF NORTON PARK LAND FOR HOUSING
The last 14.05 acres of reclaimed land for housing at Norton Park, Leek New Road, Stoke-on-Trent, has been sold by St Modwen Developments Ltd, the development subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC, to Taylor Woodrow Developments Ltd for £14.5 million.
A start is expected to be made later this year on developing the site to provide 270 homes ranging from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom detached houses.
Three previous sites have been sold to house builders at Norton Park who are constructing about 450 homes, some of which are still under construction.
When completed, Norton Park will be a modern new community with more than 700 homes, a local centre containing a convenience store, other shopping facilities, a family pub/restaurant, and 50 acres of open space.
Savills acted for St Modwen.
