St Modwen sells third Quinton investment to Birmingham School’s Foundation

The last of the first phase office buildings on  St Modwen Properties’ Quinton Business Park, Birmingham, has been sold  for £2.25 million  to the School of King Edward Sixth Birmingham Foundation.

The 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft ) Highfield House, is occupied by the services provision group Environmental Consulting Ltd, trading as RPS  which acquired the original tenants Mason Richards Architects.

Derek West of St Modwen, said: “It is the third disposal on the business park. Last autumn we sold the building occupied by the Highways Agency  to Standard Life Assurance.”

He explained that the speculative second  phase of  4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft )  is due for completion in May and there is already strong interest by occupiers. St Modwen will be moving its head office and Midlands regional team to this phase on completion.

A third phase of 4,645 sq m  (50,000 sq ft)  is being planned. When completed Quinton Business Park will total 23,225 sq m ( 250,000 sq ft.).
