St. Modwen sponsors Wantage Town Football Club for upcoming season
Wantage Town FC has unveiled new kit for its upcoming season, sponsored by property developer St. Modwen and its dedicated housebuilding business St. Modwen Homes. The logos for both St. Modwen Homes and the developer’s Kingsgrove project in Wantage will appear on the team’s home and away kit for the 2020/2021 season and an advertising board will also be in place at the club’s ground.
Wantage Town’s first match sporting its new kit will be on 12th September in its home ground at Alfredian Park in Wantage. The first game in the prestigious FA Cup preliminary round will be against either Aylesbury Vale or Windsor depending on the results of the match.
Wantage Town FC is located just down the road from St. Modwen’s 1,500-new-home Kingsgrove development. Fantastic progress has been made on site with the opening of the primary school due in September, as St. Modwen continues to go above and beyond to deliver all the elements required for a thriving community at Kingsgrove.
St. Modwen Homes has now completed its first phase of 70 homes, which has welcomed Kingsgrove’s first residents. It is now well advanced in the construction on the second phase at Home Farm, with 102 homes comprising two, three, four and five-bedroom, high quality, contemporary properties.
