ST. MODWEN STRENGTHENS LONGBRIDGE OPERATIONS TEAM

St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has announced the strengthening of its team at Longbridge following the appointment of a new operations manager for Carrisway, the facilities management provider to the scheme.

Mark Hogan, 28, has joined from David Lloyd Leisure, where he was an operations manager responsible for a portfolio of sites in the West Midlands.

In his previous position Mark managed a team of 30 staff and ensured the smooth running of a number of leisure sites across the region. He joins at an exciting time for the Longbridge development, in the run up to the opening of the town centre later this year.

In his new role, Mark will work alongside property manager Andrea Bolton and will manage the estate operations team to maintain a clean, safe and secure environment. He will also liaise closely with supply partners and ensure that the new town centre at Longbridge is maintained to a high standard. Mark’s role will see him based on site at Longbridge.

He said: “I have a strong track record in managing operational efficiency and felt the new role at Longbridge would offer me a great opportunity to work as part of a team to deliver a world class destination for business and leisure.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining the team at Longbridge, given the planned opening of the new town centre and the completion of Austin Park, which are both scheduled for later this year. This new role will offer me a great opportunity in a challenging and fast paced environment. I’m very much looking forward to the months ahead and to being part of the successful delivery of operational activities onsite.”

Andrea Bolton, property manager at St. Modwen, added: “We’re really pleased to be welcoming Mark to the onsite team, as a vital new member of the Longbridge operations team. His experience and skills gained in his previous position at David Lloyd Leisure will bring an added dimension to the operations manager role at what is a very important time for the development.”
