ST. MODWEN STRENGTHENS RESIDENTIAL TEAM WITH NEW APPOINTMENT IN SOUTH WEST

St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has appointed Nick Alexander to its South West Regional Office, as Residential Land Manager.

In his role, Alexander will manage the residential aspects of St. Modwen’s developments across the South West and South Wales, which will include maximising land sale receipts and development profits across selected sites within the regional portfolio which will consist of over 11,600 homes once completed. Across the entire region, St. Modwen manages 16 schemes totalling over 4,890 acres.

St. Modwen’s most recent residential land sale in the region was to David Wilson Homes at the company’s Langford Mead site in Taunton to develop the first phase of 119 homes at the 65 acre site.

Alexander joins St. Modwen from Ash Mill Developments, where he was a Company Director. He previously worked for Weatherall Green and Smith (now BNP Paribas Real Estate), where he qualified as a chartered surveyor and progressed to Associate Director. Nick brings over 14 years of experience as a chartered surveyor in the residential development industry to St. Modwen.

St. Modwen’s Residential Director, Guy Gusterson, commented: “We’ve seen positive movement in the housing market in the south west over the past nine months, which is allowing us to prepare more of our residential land for sale and we’re pleased to welcome Nick to the team to support this activity.

“Nick will play an integral role in building relationships with partners and stakeholders within the regional residential market to ensure that our schemes are developed into sustainable communities and attractive places for people to live and work.”
