ST. MODWEN SUBMITS PLANNING APPLICATION FOR 118 NEW HOMES AT BLYTHE VALE

Developer St. Modwen has submitted a planning application for 118 new homes at its Blythe Vale site at Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire.

The first phase of development will comprise one to five-bedroom houses, 33% of which will be affordable housing. The plans also include new traffic signaled road access and new cycle and footpaths into Blythe Bridge.

Richard Hickman, Planning Manager at St. Modwen, said: “Following extensive discussions with Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, we have created a scheme that we believe will suit the future needs of the community.”

Subject to planning, works are due to start on site in January 2018.

The site is located alongside the A50 linking the M1 and M6, within nine miles of junction 15 of the M6.
