St Modwen Developments Ltd, the development subsidiary of St Modwen Properties PLC, has completed a collaboration agreement with Oswin Developments Ltd and Helical Retail Ltd to relocate the First Bus depot at Pheasant Street, Worcester, and redevelop its three-acre site as the third and final phase of Shrub Hill Retail Park.
St Modwen obtained planning consent for a 1,394 sq m (15,000 sq ft) foodstore and 1,858 sq m (20,000 sq ft) of bulky goods retailing on the site in March 2001 as part of its comprehensive scheme for the redevelopment of the Tallow Hill area which included the realignment of Tallow Hill and George Street and the construction of a new road and footbridge over the canal.
