St Modwen Developments Ltd has exchanged contracts and is shortly to begin construction of a 4,180 sq m (45,000 sq ft) purpose designed warehouse on its 16-acre Walsall Enterprise Park for G H Stafford, which will acquire the freehold for around £2.5 million.
Planning has already been obtained for both the 4,180 sq m (45,000 sq ft ) warehouse and a further 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft ) of speculative distribution space, which will be built out at the same time.
G H Stafford, which supplies a wide range of leather goods to the trade, will relocate next summer from Town Wharf Business Park to the new premises on Walsall Enterprise Park.
The two units will bring the total development on the estate to more than 18,580 sq m (200,000 sq ft).
