ST. MODWEN TO HOLD PUBLIC CONSULTATION INTO PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT IN EASTWOOD, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, is to hold a public consultation into its plans for a new residential development in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire.
The event, which takes place on Tuesday 6th May, between 3pm-6.45pm at Dora Phillips Hall, Wood Street, Eastwood, NG16 3DD, will give local residents and interested parties the opportunity to view proposals and to meet the development team and ask questions about St Modwen’s plans for the site.
David Dodge, senior residential development surveyor at St. Modwen, said: “We are seeking Planning Consent to create a development of up to 200 high quality homes on a brownfield site accessed from the A610.
“The development will support approximately 300 jobs during the construction phase of the project and will deliver much needed new homes to the area. This will help to meet future housing requirements in the borough and relieve pressure to release land in the Greenbelt.”
“Consulting with the public is an important part of the planning process and we would like local residents and interested parties to attend this consultation, to give us their comments and feedback on the development, prior to us submitting a planning application.”
