ST. MODWEN WELCOMES DELTACAM INTERNATIONAL LTD. TO GREAT WESTERN BUSINESS PARK, WORCESTER
St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has agreed a 10-year lease for the 9,124 sq ft unit at Great Western Business Park, Worcester with new manufacturing company Deltacam International Ltd.
Launched just last month by successful entrepreneurs Neil France and Ian Simpson, Deltacam will specialise in high end manufacturing serving the aerospace, defence and energy sectors. Substantial investment has gone into the latest CNC equipment for the facility which will be capable of offering fully engineered solutions for customers.
The target customer base will include a number of blue chip firms such as Rolls Royce, General Electric, Cummins and Siemens with quick expansion into international markets and a strong emphasis on future export activity.
Neil France, Managing Director of Deltacam, said that: “We intend Deltacam to become quickly established at Great West Business Park. Turnover is estimated to grow to £1.75 million by year four and we plan to employ a strong management team as well as a number of highly skilled personnel over the next 12 months.”
Jonathan Green, Development Surveyor at St. Modwen, said: “We are pleased Deltacam has chosen to launch at Great Western Business Park and we look forward to the company vision becoming a reality.
“The Business Park has always been in demand with high profile occupiers thanks to its location and the high quality of its units.
“The remaining unit is under offer to a manufacturer and we expect to finalise the deal very soon.”
John Dillon, Managing Director of JP Dillon Commercial Property Consultants, acquired Unit 501 on behalf of Deltacam, following a search for suitable properties across Worcestershire. He added: “Great Western Business Park is a thriving business community and matches the requirements of Deltacam, which include easy access to the UK’s main transport networks and a modern, secure environment.”
St. Modwen’s letting to Deltacam means that just one vacant unit remains at Great Western Business Park, which totals 23 acres and offers modern industrial storage and warehouse space in a secure environment. It enjoys a key location, just three miles from Junctions 6 and 7 of the M5 in Worcestershire. The Park is also only five minutes from Shrub Hill station and is on the doorstep of Worcester City Centre.
