Expert developer and regeneration specialist, St. Modwen, has successfully attracted two new occupiers to its Worcester-based business park.

APEX Medical, a market leader in providing care equipment to suppliers across the UK and a leading social housing charity will be taking approximately 20,000 sq ft of space at Great Western Business Park.

Specialising in developing, manufacturing and supplying pressure area care equipment and medical beds, APEX Medical has agreed a 10-year lease for 13,805 sq ft of space.

Meanwhile, the not-for-profit housing organisation has agreed a 10-year lease for 5,765 sq ft of space at the business park.

Great Western Business Park is already home to a strong profile of businesses, including Travis Perkins and Alliance Healthcare (Distribution) Limited.

The site is strategically located in Worcester with strong connections to local and regional transport networks including Junction 6 & 7 of the M5.

Jonathan Green, Director of Asset Management at St. Modwen, said: “These latest deals highlight the continuing strength of the commercial landscape in Worcester and the growing demand for warehouse space.

“Situated just three miles from the M5, this high-spec site is in a prime location and will further expand the current offering at Great Western Business Park as it continues to strengthen its position as one of Worcester’s most sought-after business parks.”

Haydn Pugh, Operations Director at APEX Medical, added: “Great Western Business Park provides the ideal location for our needs. Just a short drive to Worcester City Centre, and with key transport connections nearby, this site means our apprentices and employees will easily be able to access the facility. The space is exactly what we were after.”
