St. Modwen wins Project of the Year in 2020 Brownfield Briefing Awards

St. Modwen was awarded the prestigious Project of the Year title in the Brownfield Briefing Awards 2020 for its St. Modwen Park Access 18 development in Avonmouth.

Located on the former Brittania Smelting Works site, the development is now one of St. Modwen’s flagship industrial and logistics schemes, with over 950,000 sq ft of high-quality warehouse space already created and more than 100 acres of additional space available for future delivery.

The £150 million scheme is an excellent example of multidisciplinary employment generation on brownfield land, having created more than 2,000 jobs.

St. Modwen Park Access 18 was also Highly Commended in the Best Urban Regeneration category.

The awards recognise best practice in the brownfield, regeneration and contaminated land industry.
