St Modwen’s Birmingham Business Park scheme off to a fine start

Mason Richards Partnership, one of the Midlands’ leading architectural practices, will become the first occupier on St Modwen Properties PLC’s flagship development, Quinton Business Park, Birmingham.

The partnership is to relocate from Highfield Road, Edgbaston, to Quinton taking 1,161 sq m (12,500 sq ft) which will be one of three buildings making up the 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft) first phase on the business park. Mason Richards is to occupy the building on a 15-year lease at an annual

rent of £16.50 per sq ft.

Construction of the first phase has begun and Mason Richards’ building and the 2,332 sq m (25,000 sq ft) building will be available next June. Negotiations are at an advanced stage to let the second building for a major communications centre.

The 18-acre Quinton Business Park is the best located office park on the western side of the Birmingham conurbation. It is accessed from the Quinton Expressway immediately adjacent to Junction 3, M5 and is only five miles from the centre of Birmingham. When complete, it will provide some 24,154 sq m (260,000 sq ft) of high quality air-conditioned offices.
