TrustFord Expands Fleet and National Logistics Centre at Meon Vale Business Park

TrustFord has expanded its fleet and national logistics centre by acquiring a further 5.5 acres at Meon Vale Business Park in Warwickshire. The UK’s largest Ford dealer group has signed a seven-year lease and becomes site owner St. Modwen’s biggest occupier.

Stuart Foulds, Chairman and Chief Executive at TrustFord, said:

“This expansion of acreage in Warwickshire reflects our ongoing dedication and investment in our industry-leading fleet and national logistics centre.  The location is perfectly situated as our national hub for vehicle preparation and delivery.”

TrustFord first arrived at Meon Vale Business Park in 2014 when it signed a five-year lease to occupy a 10,000 sq ft warehouse and storage unit.

The developer’s latest deal means St. Modwen has now let over 500,000 sq ft of high-quality flexible warehouse accommodation to a range of businesses across multiple sectors at Meon Vale in 2019. Several industry leading businesses now occupy the site, including Unipart Logistics, Desire Tech Limited and Berkeley International Services Limited. Meon Vale Business Park comprises 900,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics space and offers convenient access to the Midlands motorway network via J15 of the M40.

Gemma Butler, Asset Manager at St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, added:

“Securing the additional space for TrustFord to expand its operations at Meon Vale has been a great way to end 2019. We have seen a lot of success at this site this year with several new businesses joining the scheme. The deal reaffirms our industrial and logistics strategy, illustrating clear market demand.”

David Penn of Bromwich Hardy and Chris Keye of Darby Keye, joint agents for the site, added:

“A large amount of space has been let at Meon Vale in the last few months and reflects the continued demand for flexible logistics space within the region. We look forward to leasing the remaining two units at the site and are confident of attracting leading occupiers, given the scheme’s highly sought after location.”
