Two more tennants for Festival Park offices scheme

St Modwen Developments’ three-building Canal Arm office scheme on Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent, is now approaching full occupation.

Turning Point, the rehabilitation charity, has taken a five-year lease on a 367 sq m (3,950 sq ft) building at £12.66 per sq ft and quantity surveyor Atkins Faithful & Gould is occupying the 158 sq m (1,700 sq ft) ground floor of the remaining building on a three-year-lease with a one-year break at £14.50 per sq ft.

Recruitment company Spring Group plc occupies the third building, a 460 sq m (4,950 sq ft) unit, on a 15-year lease with a ten-year break at £13 per sq ft. This leaves on the scheme just one 158 sq m (1,700 sq ft) floor available – a first floor with lift service.

Alastair Smith of St Modwen, said: “We are pleased to have got Canal Arm 85 per cent let and are now planning a sequel office village alongside Royal Doulton on Festival Park phase three. “The Canal Arm freehold investment will be sold off either as a whole or building by building. “
