Widnes regeneration’s plan to commence Halebank redevelopment

Widnes Regeneration Ltd, the joint company between St Modwen Properties PLC and Halton Borough Council, has submitted a planning application to redevelop the site of the existing Asda food store in Halebank, Widnes.

The application forms the first phase of an overall regeneration proposal transforming part of Halebank’s industrial and commercial area into a high quality residential development which the company hopes to commence marketing in the summer.

The Asda store is being relocated to Widnes town centre and is scheduled to open there in September.
