Founded in 1966, our journey to date has lead to the growth of our core Logistics and Housebuilding businesses, delivering on our mission of creating better.

2021

St. Modwen de-lists from the London Stock Exchange and begins a new chapter under the ownership of Blackstone.

2020

St. Modwen launches its Responsible Business ambitions where we can make a positive difference on society and the environment.

2019

St. Modwen unveils new structure with three dedicated business units, including the creation of St. Modwen Logistics.

2017

St. Modwen launches new focused strategy and a purpose of ‘Changing Places. Creating Better Futures.’.

2016

St. Modwen celebrates 30 years as a publicly-listed company.

2012

St. Modwen launches its own housebuilding business, St. Modwen Homes.

2004

St. Modwen acquires 230-acre site at Longbridge, sparking a major regeneration project and becoming home to our headquarters.

2003

St. Modwen enters the FTSE 250.

1991

St. Modwen establishes its regeneration strategy and begins partnerships with landowners, local authorities and major companies.

1986

St. Modwen becomes publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange.

1966

St. Modwen is founded by Sir Stanley Clarke.
