St. Modwen appoints Rupert Joseland to drive growth of new dedicated industrial & logistics business
St. Modwen, which has been ramping up its industrial & logistics pipeline and capabilities in recent years, has further increased its commitment to the sector with the internal appointment of Rupert Joseland as Managing Director of St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics. This newly established, dedicated business unit has been formed to drive forward the company’s ambitious industrial & logistics growth plans.
Rupert Joseland’s appointment is underpinned by a senior team with deep-rooted industry expertise and includes Ian Romano who has been appointed Senior Development Director, David Binks as Senior Leasing Director and Richard Carter as Senior Construction Director. With a clear sector focus, the business unit will continue to draw on St. Modwen’s national presence with members of the team located out of offices in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Warrington.
St. Modwen has a committed pipeline of over 1.5m sq ft in 2019, having delivered 1m sq ft in 2018, and expects to commit to up to 2m sq ft annually within the next two years. This is supported by one of the UK’s biggest total pipelines which spans 15m sq ft, 60% of which already has planning permission.
